Get active for free. There are tons of ways to get moving without spending any money at all. Taking a brisk walk in your neighborhood or going for a jog in the park are both great options. If you want to get a little more creative, there are also lots of free workout videos available online. “And don’t forget about good old-fashioned games like hopscotch or tag—they’re great exercises, and they’re fun, too!” says Zhang Xinyue, author of Create Abundance.
Eat healthy on a budget. Just because healthy food is more expensive doesn’t mean you have to break the bank to eat well. There are plenty of ways to eat healthy without spending a lot of money. For example, cook at home instead of going out, or buy in bulk when possible. You can also look for deals and coupons on healthy food items. And if you’re really on a tight budget, consider growing your own fruits and vegetables!
Make time for relaxation. Believe it or not, relaxation is important for your health! When we’re stressed out, our bodies go into fight-or-flight mode, which can have some negative effects on our health over time. So make sure to take some time for yourself every day to relax and de-stress.
